Dr. Byron Henry

Compassionate care from surgeons who devote their lives to their patients

Dr. Byron Henry received both his undergraduate and dental degrees from The Ohio State University, and he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the Indiana University Medical Center. He joined Northwest Oral & Facial Surgery directly after finishing his training in July 1999 and became board certified in 2002. Dr. Henry enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, yet he has a particular interest in implant and cleft lip and palate surgery. He devotes some of his personal time each year to mission trips providing free cleft lip and palate surgery to the needy in third-world countries. He and his wife Stacy founded Free to Smile Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers free cleft lip and palate surgery to underserved children in Asia and Central and South America. Dr. Henry not only finds the work fulfilling but also takes pride in its educational role. “Part of our purpose is to find a few sites and return to them annually to train local surgeons to do this surgery.” he says. “We want to help the families and also the countries.”

He is an outdoor enthusiast with a particular liking for hiking, running and biking. Closer to home, Byron spends time with his wife Stacy and their two children.

Dr. Henry holds the following staff appointments:
Mount Carmel St. Ann’s, Westerville, OH
