Dr. Clifford Cook

Compassionate care from surgeons who devote their lives to their patients

Dr. Clifford Cook completed both his undergraduate and dental school programs at The Ohio State University.

After graduation in 1984, he finished a one-year facial trauma focused residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He married in 1985 and moved to Rochester, Minnesota, where he completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. This included six-month rotations in medicine, anesthesia, and plastic and reconstructive surgery. The Cooks relocated to Rhode Island in 1989 for two years of private practice before returning to the Columbus area. Dr. Cook enjoys all aspects of oral surgery, but is particularly interested in dental implant and reconstructive jaw surgery. He focuses his continuing educational efforts on these areas to remain current with the state-of-the-art techniques. He has special expertise in the surgical and anesthetic management of diabetic patients, and he also volunteers his surgical skills at the Columbus Zoo when needed.

Dr. Cook and his wife live in Worthington and have three grown children who are branching out across the country. They enjoy their dog, as well as traveling, skiing, bike riding, golfing and playing tennis.
